Keukenhof

We topped off the tour with a visit to Keukenhof, which is a internationally famous flower garden in the Netherlands.  So internationally famous that you almost only see tourists inside. Utrecht again!

We have posted something about Utrecht already, which was the most important thing: our trip to the Dick Bruna Huis. But there are still sights to be seen: It’s the Nijntje Pleintje, a little square dedicates to “grandma”!

Hello, friends!  I know it’s time for us to put some pictures up from our trip! Let’s dive right into the most important ones first. Grandma‘s Place:

We’re back (for a while now)!

Don’t worry, we didn’t get stuck in Europe because of the volcanic ash!  We’ve been back for a week but we’re just too lazy to post about it on the blog just yet. Here’s one of the pictures for now, more to come!

Vacation time!

We are going on vacation! A vacation to the Netherlands to visit “Grandma”!  We’ll of course post pictures when we get back.  Have a great spring break, everyone!

Christmas ’08 Mall Decoration Series — Park Central

Today, I brought 9J  to learn about her home country’s craft.  We went to see the Dutch Clog production demonstration for Christmas at Tseung Kwan O.  The mall was called Park Central and it had invited the clog artisan Martin Dijkman from the Netherlands to demonstrate the making of clogs.
