Chinese New Year Traditions

Here are some Chinese New Year Traditions in my house, demonstrated by 9J:

Select a mat to be placed in front of your room according to the color that suits you in a particular year. This year it has to be grey/silver for me.

Ues new things, such as towels.

Put a pair of tangerines near the head of your bed. (Notice the Dick Bruna book on the background?)

In a tram, again

We rode in a tram again today.  I think 9J’s old-timey outfit fits this kind of old-timey transportation.

I actually found Miffy towels, at this store called Wise Kids!  I originally went in there to play with their poseable Groovy Girls dolls.

A lazy summer afternoon on an old-fashioned means of transport.

I was scared of her falling out of the window, hence the hasty picture.
