Greetings from the Hong Kong International Airport!

Hello everyone, 9J here!  Anita Maria and I are currently waiting in the airport lounge for our flight to L.A.  Have a good one and we’ll see you again soon!

Trips ahoy!

I’m going to my first real big trip with Anita Maria tomorrow!  She has to fly back to California to renew her drivers liscence and visit friends and family on the way.  We will be back in two weeks with lots of pictures!  We may even be able to blog a little in between.

Here’s what Anita bought and changed into last week on the street when her shoes hurt her feet.

Hong Kong Science Museum

I went to the Science Museum today, mainly to see the exhibition called “Exploration of Time,” but ended up joining a docent tour and spending a lot of time on other displays as well.

Handkerchief and pens

On our trip to Ngau Tau Kok, we went to Amoy Plaza, which was right there, for a spin.

Lower Ngau Tau Kok Estate: a place a tourist will not normally go

We went to the Lower Ngau Tau Kok Estate for a visit… I thought there was an exhibition there about life in the old government housing development.  However, there was not much of a show there but a way to lure more people to visit the soon-to-be-demolished old area.  It was interesting nonetheless.

Another Tea

It’s been a while since I posted pictures of going to tea with 9J, so here you go.

Workshop: Making of Scratch-Art

I went to this Scratch-art workshop at the Hong Kong Museum of History today.

It was very interesting.
