U. S. Trip 2011 ~ The Huntington Library

I am glad I had the opportunity to visit the Huntington Library on this trip to the U.S.  I have never been there before but have heard a lot of good things about it.  Unfortunately, a lot of people assume the entire premise is full of books by its name.

So, as you can see, there are a lot to see besides books!

The Getty Villa

There’s another location of the Getty Museum besides the Center, which is the Getty Villa.  Some of Anita’s friends work there so she paid them a visit.

The Getty Villa is built like a Roman villa, or vacation home for the wealthy.  There are plenty of open air space.  It’s a nice place to walk and sit even if you weren’t interested in ancient art.

That’s all for these installments of pictures on our trips to the US!  I hope I can present to you more traveling pictures soon.  Stay tuned for pictures from our local adventures as well!  See you soon!

More Getty Center

Hello!  Here are more pictures of the Getty Center we took that day when Anita went to visit her friends.

The Getty Center, Fourth Day in America

I started with the fourth day that I am here because I went to the Getty Center with Anita today.  It was a very important place for Anita because the nine months she worked there she was very happy.  We drove for a long long time from San Diego to L.A. and back.  Most of the people recognized her and greeted her warmly.

Here are a few of the pictures of me at the beautiful Getty Center complex.
